You can hear Jonny Seven playing unplugged and in a different vibe as Louisiana. The accoustic sets feature traditional blues, with plenty of open tunings, bottleneck and harmonica. If you like Robert Johnson or his peers, Louisiana will appeal to you. Al's 12-string guitar sometimes adds a taste of Ry Cooder to the sound. Keith Dyson is certainly the most accomplished player of the bottleneck style in the city and his vocals, the powerhouse of Jonny Seven, have the true passion of the delta blues. Sometimes, just to lighten the mood, they throw in some R&B from the 1960s. Al and Keith are both very keen Bob Dylan fans and Al can play just about anything that Mr Zimmerman has ever written that is worth hearing.
